Symptom

The following code was reported in Pulsewave® Software: 100012 The device was not properly calibrated.

Explanation

This code is reported when the Pulsewave® Device did not calibrate properly prior to inflation of the cuff.  This could be caused by many factors such as:  movement during the calibration period, or external interferences.  The calibration period is the slight pause after the countdown timer and the initial inflation of the cuff.

Troubleshooting

  1. Confirm that there are no external sources of interference such as mobile phones, audio speakers, etc.
  2. Take another reading and remain still throughout the entire reading process.
  3. Take another reading.
